If you are not in Japan, please check the Japanese embassy/consulate website page relative to your country, because there are entry criteria which are being regularly updated as circumstances change. After becoming a WWOOFer, please ask hosts directly, explaining your situation. There are some hosts who are not hosting WWOOFers for a while. Recognizing our rich history, sense of family, faith life and cultural significance, the vision for the current location in the Town of Norway was for Triglav Park to be a second home to the many Slovenian refugees who came to Wisconsin. Some hosts may take measures of physical distancing with WWOOFers for a period. Triglav Park is located in a picturesque setting where all things Slovenian are celebrated. Re COVID-19, some hosts are accepting WWOOFers as usual after checking how the WWOOFers have spent their days recently. This and more is outlined in the Host Preview. Also, hosts will introduce WWOOFers to the beauty of their local area. Hosts reciprocate, giving WWOOFers various knowledge and experience relating to these and other activities while living with the host. For example, weeding, seeding, harvesting, watering, chopping wood, feeding animals, shipping vegetables, processing food, cleaning, washing dishes, helping children's study, building houses, painting, computer support, taking dogs for a walk, shoveling snow, helping at event, making handicrafts, etc. What WWOOFers do at hosts' places, depends on each host. Hundreds of hosts, adding new hosts monthly, representing a rich diversity of adventure, for example: organic farming, organic restaurants, farm inns, pottery and arts, building and restoring traditional homesteads, dealing with animals, eco village, brewing and production of foods, fishing, bee keeping, nature guide center, centers for the environment, and more.
WWOOF Japan members can get below the veneer of tourism and away from their daily grind, have genuine and meaningful experiences with people, society and culture, in all kinds of walks of life, in hundreds of locations all over Japan.

WOOFING SLAVANIA REGISTRATION
WWOOFing starts from sending an online Registration Form. WWOOFers need pay only the yearly WWOOF Japan membership fee of 5,500 yen. There is no money paid between hosts and WWOOFers. Hosts give WWOOFers meals and accommodation, in return for WWOOFers participating in the activities hosts do at their place.
